I ordered a drain rod set from Temu as there is no way I'll pay the council to clear our drains. I added some PIR LED USB-rechargeable lamps to get free postage.

The drain rod set arrived yesterday, the rest is stuck in Customs after some business owner demanded that small packets should be taxed.

I wanted to by discounted tubs of fatballs from B&M, but they were withdrawn from sale yesterday as they were all mouldy with 6 months left on the Useby date.

I was asked to buy an illuminated makeup mirror. It arrived from Temu, but it's only one dim LED so doesn't do the required task. Temu refunded it with no quibbles and we get to keep it.

Loadsbeer. I think it is prudent to use up my pocket money now rather than wait for a Labour Annual Budget.

Loadsasoups. 4 for 3 , or 20% off at Lidl. They are going through soup like tramps on a cold night.

Not so much in Lidl, most of what we need is from Aldi.

6 bricks, Exterior PVA for a job outside, and pipe insulation for the outside tap. I only got the basics in Morrisons as they are so expensive now.

I ordered a new PC monitor for Pol who is gifting it to her brother. It dropped by 60% in a week as new models are coming out ready for Xmas.

Tesco had a lot of multipacks of hallowe'en sweets at half price. I got 2 850g bags of M&Ms.

I bought a rechargeable Remington half price from Asda. It takes ages to actually start cutting hair, despite being fully lubed.

A few more of the large garlic heads from Lidl. Most will join the others in the raised bed.
