I was woken by noisy magpies, but I had to get up anyway, so I beat the alarm clock.

Pol brought a cold home. She passed it to her Mum, then I got the sniffles. The lad was sneezing yesterday.

The missus got her flu jab yesterday, but Pol and I have to wait until perhaps after xmas!!!   

The lad doesn't qualify for a free one this year, but they will be available "soon" at Tesco for £16.

I had a lie-in as it was so quiet.

[Mike]

I was woken by the sound of cars riving through puddles, and by next doors' dogs yapping outside. I tried for a lie-in, but gave up quickly.

A nap was necessary.

Well I'm up

[Tâf]

Rain lashing the bedroom windows woke me, but I almost fell asleep again when a neighbour rang our doorbell to ask if I wanted a beer that she "accidentally" bought.

I thought I had a good sleep, but just noticed that I managed to flip the quilt upside down and turn it 90 degrees.

[Tâf]

Twice I tried for a nap. Twice I was disturbed by someone at the door.

Tired, ruddy fireworks going off to 3qam for Diwali

[Tâf]

The lad woke me around 2am as he moved about. Looking for snacks, probably.

Then a noise outside woke me around 8. But the next thing I knew, it was after half 10.
